Adam Sandler gushes over wife Jackie on 20th wedding anniversary: 'Let's keep going and going'

The magic of love at first sight worked out for Adam Sandler.

The actor-comedian took to Instagram on Thursday to celebrate his 20th wedding anniversary with wife Jackie, whom he tied the knot with in 2003. Sandler shared a photo from their nuptials, which showed Sandler in a black-and-white tuxedo and Jackie rocking an ethereal white dress.

"Happy 20th my sweet Jackie! Your ‘I do’ was the best gift of my life," Sandler wrote. "My heart has been yours since the first second I saw you, and I love and appreciate your devoted soul more and more each day.”

He added: "Let’s keep going and going babe. Lots of love to give you. Always."

However, despite their two-decade track record, the couple doesn’t always see eye to eye — especially in the fashion department.

Jackie Sandler poked fun at her husband’s casual style during an appearance at the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor in March, which honored the "Murder Mystery" star.

Sandler, who has become an unlikely fashion icon thanks to his uniform of a baggy t-shirt or Hawaiian shirt and oversized basketball shorts, told USA TODAY he hoped to wear basketball shorts for the occasion, but that idea was quickly shut down.

Sandler's clothing choices became fodder for a slew of jokes during the show: "He almost no-showed when he heard there was a dress code" ("Uncut Gems" co-star Idina Menzel), "even the front window mannequin at a Bass Pro Shops dresses better" (Steve Buscemi), "He's a fashionista, they say, but I say he's a slob" (Sandler's mother, Judy Sandler), "he starred in 'Billy Madison' and dresses like Billie Eilish" (David Spade).

Jackie Sandler joked that every time she lays out a sweater or suit for Sandler to wear to a red carpet, he replies, "Babe, that will destroy my career."
