Adam Driver has quietly become a father of two.

The Academy Award nominee, 40, and wife Joanne Tucker, who tied the knot in 2013 after meeting at Juilliard, have welcomed their second baby together, PEOPLE confirms.

According to Page Six, who was the first to report the news, Driver announced the arrival of his baby girl during a dress rehearsal for his stint as a host on Saturday Night Live over the weekend.

"Last year, I asked for a baby girl, and I got it, which is exhausting," the star reportedly said while practicing his opening monologue. "So this year, I wish for Ambien!"

This isn't the first time Driver has announced some big news during the sketch comedy show.

After making a few hints, Driver finally addressed his dad status in his opening monologue during his Saturday Night Live hosting appearance in 2020, telling the crowd, "I'm a husband. And a father. It's in that order though. I've been very clear with my son about that, he's second in everything."

In February 2023, PEOPLE confirmed that Tucker was pregnant with her and Driver's second child.

During a March appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, the actor admitted his son "has no interest in watching" his recent movie 65.

"So, I was with my family all the time, and my son was just telling me everything about every dinosaur," he recalled, noting that the movie includes "dinosaurs and laser guns."

"And he's into dinosaurs. I'm like, 'I'm in.' And then we went [to set], and he kind of knew everything. The guy was like, 'This might be a little scary. Don't be scared.' He's like, 'No ... Gallimimus...Eoraptor...' He was naming everything, he was really into it."

"But he doesn't want to see the movie because it's too scary," added Driver. "So, I basically made this thing for him to watch that he has no interest in watching."
