Adam Beach Cast In Rod Lurie’s TNT Drama Pilot ‘Monsters Of God’

Adam Beach has been cast opposite Garret Dillahunt in Rod Lurie’s post-Civil War drama pilot Monsters of God for TNT, from Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment.

In Monsters of God, written and to be directed by Lurie, savagery and violence are the cornerstones of Colonel “Terrible” Bill Lancaster (Dillahunt)’s holy war against the Comanche in post-Civil War Texas. Despite the peaceful co-existence between the Comanche and local townspeople, Lancaster sets out on a quest to kill off every single member of the tribe, bringing chaos to the town of Slater.

Beach will play Sees Two Moons, an assertive Comanche and powerful son of the Chief who quickly learns that the new Colonel at Fort Thayer, Bill Lancaster (Dillahunt), wants to defy the town’s peace treaty with the Comanche tribe. Sees Two Moons realizes he needs to defend his people against this new threat, and in doing so, discovers his own role within Comancheria.

Known for his role in Clint Eastwood’s Oscar-nominated Flags Of Our Fathers, and Golden Globe-nominated for HBO miniseries Bury My Heart At Wounded Knee, Beach recently wrapped shooting Scott Cooper’s Hostiles, alongside Christian Bale, Rosamund Pike and Ben Foster. He’s repped by Industry Entertainment.
