Actress Elaine Devry, Mickey Rooney’s 4th Wife, Dead at 93

Elaine Devry, who was the fourth of Mickey Rooney’s eight wives and starred with him in The Atomic Kid and appeared on dozens of television shows, has died at the age of 93. The actress was just 22 when she met Rooney at a California driving range and married him in 1952, according to Variety; the union lasted only six years. Her movie credits include China Doll, Diary of a Madman, and Herbie Rides Again.
