There's no need to "Curb Your Enthusiasm" for this celebrity visit to Tallahassee.

In town for her 40th class reunion with Leon High School, Emmy-nominated actress, producer, and director Cheryl Hines is excited to see old friends and share with them her new eco-friendly product line Hines+Young.

“Plastic waste in the beauty industry is one of the highest contributors to plastic pollution in the world, and yet I love beauty and skin care products,” says Hines. “With this in mind, my daughter Cat and I have launched Hines+Young to explore new ways to feel good without contributing to the problem of plastics.”

Actress Cheryl Hines, who has launched a new eco-friendly beauty line with her daughter, Cat, will return to her hometown and make an appearance at Hearth & Soul from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023.

Hines grew up in Tallahassee, where she first explored her acting chops in the choral and drama departments at Leon High School and at Young Actors Theatre.

Hines is best known on the YAT stage for her role as the clever but dim-witted gal gangster Bonnie/Erma in the 1983 production of "Anything Goes." Always known for her quirky sense of humor and ready smile, Cheryl’s comedic timing sometimes got her in trouble, which was not as popular in math class as it is on a Hollywood set.

“It’s always fun to come home and hear the stories my classmates remember about our fun times,” Cheryl says. “What I remember most is the laughter. We were always having fun.”

Emmy Award-nominated actress, director, and producer Cheryl Hines is best known for her role as “Cheryl David” on the Emmy Award-nominated and Golden Globe Award-winning series "Curb Your Enthusiasm." Season 13 (which is being touted as the final season) will air later this year. Features film roles include "RV," "Waitress," and "Bad Mom’s X-mas."

Throughout her successful television/movie career, Cheryl has continued to support YAT.

Cheryl is very proud of the company she has started with her daughter Cat and is excited to share her story and a sampling of Hines+Young products at Hearth & Soul. Hearth & Soul is a gathering place and shopping experience curated to help visitors feel at home.
