Actor Robert Carradine and Wife Divorcing After 25 Years of Marriage

Actor Robert Carradine is divorcing his wife of 25 years Edith Carradine, PEOPLE can confirm.

The couple cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.

While there is no battle for child support, as the couple’s two children are adults, the Revenge of the Nerds actor is requesting that his wife pay spousal support. In legal documents obtained by PEOPLE Carradine has also asked that the court’s ability to award spousal support to his wife be terminated.

The pair has been separated since July, according to TMZ.

Over the summer, they appeared in an episode of Celebrity Wife Swap in which Edith switched household with former NFL star Terrell Owens and his girlfriend.

The divorce papers were filed in late November, just a week before Thanksgiving.
