After a sleepy couple of seasons, it was obvious that The Real Housewives of Atlanta needed a cast shake-up. But no one expected Kandi Burruss to announce that she was exiting the show after 14 seasons. Immediately, rumors started flying about the rest of the cast. Could actor Krista Allen be joining the franchise?

There were rumors that Kenya Moore was keeping her peach and that Porsha Williams was returning for one. But nothing has been written in stone yet. “No one has signed a contract for Season 16,” an insider said, and “no one is locked in.” I am crossing my fingers that Porsha returns.

Meanwhile, Andy Cohen feels positive about the next season of Atlanta. “I do want to say I’m not announcing anything, but we are on it and the casting is superb,” he said. Andy also reflected on Kandi’s exit. “And she’s a big loss, but I think, you know, it allows us to figure out the future and I guess this is me just saying I’m very excited about the casting that we have. Very,” Andy said.

Is Krista Allen in the mix?

Krista has appeared in The Bold and the Beautiful, and Baywatch. She shared an interesting message on X (formerly known as Twitter.) “I got a very cryptic call today … Can’t go into much because it was just some basic questions. But, I’m intrigued. … does anyone watch #RHOA? Tell me all you know!!” Krista wrote.

A user posted, “I watch #RHOA and as with all Housewives, things get messy. Do a deep dive before jumping because you’re a friendly ray of light on TwiX. You can ask Bold actress Denise “BravofkingBravo” Richards about her RHOBH experience and Eileen Davidson might have a fair assessment.”

Krista seemed to be having some doubts. “I’m not doing any jumping! There’s alot going on with opportunities. but this call was so wild! I think it’s pretty intense to do a show like that and I’m not sure my neurodivergent brain could function!” she posted.

Well, only time will tell if Krista will become a RHOA cast member. Let’s hope that the cast for Season 16 comes ready to play. Viewers deserve to have a great season!
