THREE OAKS — The Acorn presents “Bryan Lubeck: Welcome Winter” at 8 p.m. Dec. 16 at 107 Generations Drive.

The concert features material from Lubeck’s new album, “Welcome Winter,” as well as his radio-played songs, fresh arrangements of holiday favorites and new musical surprises.

Known for his fiery Spanish guitar and smooth urban grooves, he will be joined by Grammy-nominated saxophonist Nick Bisesi and Ted Yoder, who had the most-watched online music video of 2016 with his dulcimer rendition of the Tears for Fears hit “Everybody Wants to Rule the World.”

“Welcome Winter” layers Lubeck’s romantic Spanish guitar stylings with an acoustic ensemble of violins, cellos, dulcimer, melodica, percussion, vibraphones and unique acoustic instrumentation. In a nod to his childhood inspirations from popular Windham Hill music label artists, “Welcome Winter” continues Lubeck’s tradition of holiday music.

Tickets are $60-$35.
