Acorn holds finals of its 'Spectacular Tournament of Playwrights' 10-minute plays contest

THREE OAKS — The Acorn presents its “Spectacular Tournament of Playwrights Finals” at 7 p.m. Nov. 4 at 107 Generations Drive.

Actors from Twin City Players in St. Joseph and the Beckwith Theatre in Dowagiac will perform staged readings of the six finalists in the competition of 10-minute plays.

The finalists are “Softball Bros.” by Kyle P. Berry, “Hounded” by Susan Meadows, “Quiet” by Larry Nielsen, “Wine Tasting” by George Platz, “Schadenfreude Doesn’t Become You, Babe” by Shawn Samuelson Henry and “Floating Down to Camelot” by Steven Satta.

Tickets are $50-$25.
