Academy of Country Music Awards’ Biggest Wins

On Sunday night, country music’s biggest stars got together under one roof for the 51st Academy of Country Music Awards. Considering that Miranda Lambert has been dealing with a little white liar this past year, winning Female Vocalist of the Year was just what the divorcee needed. As for Jason Aldean the night was just getting started when the Georgia boy finally won “Entertainer of the Year.” Jason even said upon receiving his award “I was just starting to think that this one was not in the cards for me. I’ll tell ya what. I may be rough around the edges a little bit. But I love this business, I love the people in it, and the fans that support it. This is one of the best nights of my professional career.”

But the artist who’s quickly becoming a staple at country music awards was none other than Chris Stapleton. Stapleton took home Best Song of the Year, Best Album of the Year, Best Male Vocalist, and New Male Vocalist of the Year. Stapleton’s wins tie him with Brooks and Faith Hill for most wins in a night at the ACMs.
