ACM Awards 2024: Best prediction scores by our Editors and Users

Congratulations to our User Garney for a great score of 90.91% when predicting the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards winners on Thursday night. Our top scorer is just ahead of one other person at 81.82% and had a great point score of 12,510 by using their two Super Bets (500 points each) wisely.

More than 200 people worldwide predicted these champs for the ACM ceremony that took place in Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. Our top User got 10 out of 11 categories correct, including Lainey Wilson for Entertainer of the Year and Female Artist of the Year and Chris Stapleton for Male Artist of the Year and Album of the Year (“Higher”).

SEELainey Wilson wins Entertainer of the Year at 2024 ACM Awards, Chris Stapleton also cleans up

You can see how your score compares to all others in our leaderboard rankings of all contestants, which also includes links to see each participant’s predictions. To see your own scores, go to the User menu in the top right corner of every page of Gold Derby when you’re signed in to the site. Use the drop down menu to go to “View Profile,” then look for the links to your “Award Show Scores.” Gold Derby must evaluate each potential winner’s eligibility as per our contest rules. If eligible, the first-place finisher receives a $100 Amazon gift card.

For our nine Gold Derby Editors predicting, Marcus James Dixon and Ray Richmond are the best at 72.73%. Then tied at 63.64% each are Chris Beachum, Joyce Eng, Christopher Rosen and Paul Sheehan. Charlie Bright and I are next at 54.55%. And Denton Davidson scores 45.45%. See Editors’ scores.
