Abi Carter gives best performance on ‘American Idol’ Top 14 results show: Watch her belt out ‘My Mind’ [POLL RESULTS]

The Top 14 were revealed in a live two-hour broadcast of “American IdolMonday night. Host Ryan Seacrest called the Top 20 to the stage, one-by-one, telling them if America had voted them through or they’d have to be saved by judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. Each contestant sang regardless of the results, and in our recent poll viewers named Abi Carter the best of the night. Watch her stirring rendition of “My Mind” by Yebba above.

By the end of the evening Ajii, Odell Benton Jr., Jennifer Jeffries, Kennedy Reid, Mackenzie Sol and Quintavious were eliminated from the competition. The judges saved Jordan Anthony, Roman Collins, Jayna Elise and Nya, allowing them to move forward in the competition. They round out the Top 14 who will sing for America’s votes on “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Night” on Sunday, April 21. KISS frontman Gene Simmons will mentor the finalists.
