“Part 2” (starting at 10:30 pm ET) proceeded to draw 10.4 million total viewers and a 2.93 demo rating, surging 30% and 32% year-over-year and delivering the highest-rated entertainment telecast on any network in primetime since ABC’s Oscars broadcast in March.

All of the above represent three-year highs for the Seacrest-hosted revelry. Or, considered differently, New Year’s Rockin’ Eve enjoyed its best numbers since Miley Cyrus hosted a competing special over on NBC. (Miley sat this year out.) Hmmm.

New Year’s Rockin’ Eve‘s late-night segment, which clocked in at 11:30 pm ET, had an LL Cool 18 million people watching, while netting a 5.33 demo rating — up 30% from the show’s 2022 tallies, and with no fewer than 22.2 million people tuned in when the ball dropped here in the Big Apple.

What New Year’s Eve special earned your loyalty this Dec. 31?
