ABC To Celebrate ‘General Hospital’ With ’60 Years of Stars and Storytelling’ Special In January

General Hospital will celebrate its 60th anniversary with a primetime special, “General Hospital: 60 Years of Stars and Storytelling” on January 4.

The special will feature cast members from throughout the years as they pull back the curtain on six decades in Port Charles, including behind-the-scenes moments, bloopers and a special fan tribute.

GH cast members Maurice Benard, Jane Elliot, Genie Francis, Finola Hughes, Kelly Monaco and Laura Wright will participate, as will GH star Emma Samms, former sudser star Rick Springfield, and actress  Amber Tamblyn, among other celebrity guests like DWTS‘ Val Chermkovskiy and ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith.

“General Hospital: 60 Years of Stars and Storytelling” is executive produced by Frank Valentini. Directing the primetime special is Ashley Gorman. Michelle Henry and Mary-Kelly Weir serve as co-executive producers.

The special is produced by ABC.
