Abby Lee Miller Struggles with Maddie’s Return to ‘Dance Moms’
Abby took it upon herself to take Maddie’s ego down a few notches. She said, “This week my eyes are going to be on Maddie. It’s going to be her that gets the correction or her that gets reprimanded.” She made good on the promise by criticizing Maddie’s rehearsal of a dance routine. The moms grew tired of the criticism. One said, “The dance was beautiful. The kid did it perfect, and it wasn’t enough.”
Despite the tension, the group won their competition. Abby said, “I pushed Maddie really hard this week. Sometimes I have to. She stepped it up, and she lead the team to victory. Regardless of what the moms say, I know my own students. I have to push Maddie. I want her to stay on top.”
Dance Moms airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
