Abby De La Rosa Says It's Been 'One of the Most Challenging Years' After Sharing Son Zillion's Autism Diagnosis

Abby De La Rosa is fighting for her son.

On Tuesday, the radio personality, 33, posted a message on her Instagram Story after sharing that her 2-year-old son Zillion, 2, whom she shares with Nick Cannon, had recently been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

Reposting a screenshot from a TikTok video, De La Rosa shared a quote that read, "Mothers of children with autism have stress levels comparable to combat veterans."

"The last year has really been one of the most challenging years of my life," De La Rosa wrote over the picture. "Constantly advocating and fighting for answers all while working and trying to be the best mother, friend, and partner."

"Today I want to uplift all the families worldwide, acknowledging the [sic] all the challenges and spreading love & understanding," she said.

Earlier that day, De La Rosa and Cannon, 43, shared that their son Zillion had been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, announcing the news on Instagram.

"Today our family recognizes World Autism Awareness Day which is beyond meaningful to us because our amazing 2 year old, Zillion, was recently diagnosed with ASD - joining the unique energy of others like Niko Telsa, Sir Isaac Newton, Albert Einstein and Michael Angelo, just to name a few dynamic individuals," they wrote in the caption.

"Our beautiful boy experiences life in 4D and teaches us something new everyday! His love, strength and brilliance light up every room he enters! We are blessed that God had placed such an amazing spirit under our guardianship and we have accepted this assignment wholeheartedly!"

"On this World Autism Awareness Day, we extend our embrace to families worldwide, acknowledging shared challenges and championing understanding. Together, let’s create a world of acceptance and compassion," they added.

The two are also parents to Zillion's twin brother Zion, also 2, and daughter Beautiful, 16 months.

Earlier this week, the two shared photos from their children's Easter celebrations on Instagram. "Happy Easter! There’s no 🐰 like them! 🐣🐣🐣🐇🤍," De La Rosa wrote in the caption.

Cannon replied, "Such a beautiful blessing! I love you all! ❤️❤️❤️Love you Daddy Bunny!!"

The mom of three shared more candid moments on her Instagram Story, which showed Cannon running around with his three little ones and other members of her family as they enjoyed the holiday together.

"We had a blast," she wrote in her final caption of the day.
