Abby Anderson Engaged to Boyfriend Tyler Graham: 'Turns Out My Man Catches More Than Fish'

Abby Anderson is engaged!

The country singer/songwriter, 23, announced she is set to tie the knot with her boyfriend of two years, Tyler Graham.

Anderson and Graham, 28, who have been social distancing together in Georgia with her siblings during the coronavirus pandemic, got engaged last Saturday with the help of her family.

The "Good Lord" singer's older sister Ashlin decorated a canoe with a flower arrangement for the couple to take a romantic boat ride. And when they got to the middle of the lake, Graham got down on one knee and presented her a ring made of wildflowers.

The pair plan to design her ring when jewelers resume business in accordance with federal stay-at-home guidelines.

On Sunday, Anderson shared photos of his proposal on Instagram and Twitter, writing, "TURNS OUT MY MAN CATCHES MORE THAN FISH Ring brought to you by Tyler’s beautiful mind, jewelers being closed, corona and wildflower stems."

In March 2019, Anderson spoke with PEOPLE about Graham and their relationship when she premiered her single "Good Lord," which was inspired by her now-fiancé.

"I feel like I learned what love is this year. This love is peaceful and it feels like home. I can be myself with him," she raved. "I don’t have to be some extra version of myself. It’s refreshing just to be me with him."

At the time, she did not disclose his name, telling PEOPLE about Graham's reaction to the song: "He’s so shy and humble. It’s about him so I think he should love it."

Prior to her engagement news, Anderson opened up about what it has been like to social distance with Graham.

"I feel like it's going better for me than it should. I feel very at peace and I think that has a lot to do with having time to breathe, having time to think, and really think about what I want to write," she recently told American Songwriter. "I've found that my writing feels better, I feel more in tune with my body and the world around me. And I realize I’m very privileged to be healthy and to be where I am in life. So I don’t take that for granted – I feel very thankful. I think that’s what quarantine has done for me – make me realize all my blessings."
