The injury occurred near the beginning of the first quarter of Monday night's game after Bills linebacker Leonard Floyd sacked Rodgers. The game was Rodgers' debut with the Jets after playing the first 14 seasons of his career with the Green Bay Packers.

After being traded by the Packers in April, the four-time NFL MVP signed a two-year, $75 million fully-guaranteed contract with the Jets that runs through the 2024 season in July.

Zach Wilson replaced Rodgers as the Jets' starting quarterback Monday and helped lead the team to an overtime win over the Bills. He is expected to start on Sunday when the Jets play the Dallas Cowboys.
