Apr. 23—BEMIDJI — The Sanford Center will host "Aaron Lewis: The American Patriot Tour" at 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, at the Center, 1111 Event Center Drive NE.

"Aaron Lewis, the Vermont-born powerhouse, first found success with Staind — the 2000s-era hard rockers who injected meditative muscle into an era better known for mindless aggression," a release said. "But while that band is still very much alive, it was never enough to satisfy Lewis' creative drive."

As a solo artist, Lewis has had two albums reach number one on the Billboard Country Album Debut charts: "Town Line" and "Sinner." His song "Country Boy," with George Jones and Charlie Daniels, went platinum and "Am I the Only One" was a gold-certified Billboard number-one hit. Lewis' 2022 album

"Frayed at Both Ends"

was the best-selling country album in America, the release said.

"No matter the sonic setting, Lewis writes and sings to get his truth out and his upcoming album 'The Hill' is no different," added the release.
