Aaron Carter is so sick of the drama that he claims he's moving to Canada and says he's even purchased a multi-million private island, and fans are questioning he's telling the truth.

Carter was on a social media rant Saturday while on a trip to Canada, and claimed to fans that he was going to move up north after purchasing a home in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Canadians Love Everyone

Even though Carter is clearly going through a troubled time, his fans in the Great White North seemed to welcome the star with open arms.

"Wishing you all the best. Welcome to Canada 🇨🇦 ♥️," one fan tweeted.

Another wrote, "Welcome to Canada handsome."

Others Questioned His Story

While Carter seemed genuinely excited about the future in his new homeland, many fans online do not believe he is moving to Nova Scotia and questioned whether he actually purchased a home.

"I've got $100 riding on you keeping this Canada thing up for another 48 hours. Don't let me down Aaron," one fan tweeted.

"I'm pretty sure he's pranking," another wrote. Carter backed up his claims, however, and was adamant that he is embarking on a new life in Canada.

His New Home?

After hours of defending himself, Carter finally revealed his alleged home and says he's already put a down payment on the move.

He says he purchased Kaulbach Island, a private island located in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and secured it with $1.5 million.

Kaulbach Island is 57 acres with an 11,000 sq ft main house already built. It had been on sale for quite some time and the price had been reduced as recently as last year.

According to realty listing for the island, it was on the market for $4,132,528.

Nobody knows for sure whether he is telling the truth, but the singer does keep posting photos that he claims are his new home.

He has also been amassing a huge audience of people following his downward spiral, and even recognized it in a message that read, "Hundreds of millions are watching now and you never know what’s gonna happen next."

We'll have to wait and see if his new home is the real deal or just Fantasy Island.
