Aaron Carter Explains The Meaning Behind His New Face Tattoo

Aaron Carter did not just walk into a tattoo parlor and say, "I'll have what she's having," when picking out the design for his face tattoo.

The new ink has a meaning and he opened up to Entertainment Tonight about why he got the face tat.

"Medusa is my protector," Carter said, "so if you want to come at me with some negativity, my Medusa will stare you in the eye and turn you into stone."

The 31-year-old was on the red carpet promoting his new show "Marriage Boot Camp: Family Edition" when he said his "Medusa" represents his mother.

Aaron appears on the WEtv reality show with his mom, Jane who says the show "helped us to get to know each other again," when referring to their turbulent relationship.

"There is nothing fake, there is nothing scripted about this show," Aaron exclaimed, "there is nothing fake or scripted about me."

He's Been Making Headlines

Aaron has been making headlines recently for his public feud with his brother, Nick Carter, and his social media antics.

First, he got the giant face tattoo and then he stated that he will leave the United States and move to Nova Scotia.

He shared a photo of a large house in Canada he claimed to have bought and said he will be moving into his "castle" after he finishes up doing press for his new show.

He also claimed that he paved the way for Justin Bieber.

Bieber responded to the star by saying, "Bold move with the face tats I respect it."

Bieber continued, "But the paved the way thing is hmmm."
