AAP - Food Samaritans kicks off season with Palm Springs fundraiser
Approximately 120 guests showed up to the Andreas Hills home of Marc Walters on Nov. 10 for AAP – Food Samaritans' 2022-23 Angel Program kickoff celebration.
The evening raised funds needed to provide nutritional support to low-income Coachella Valley residents living with HIV/AIDS and other chronic illnesses. The event featured catering from Willie Rhine at Eight4Nine and a performance from Keisha D.
AAP - Food Samaritans relies on the Jeannette Rockefeller Angel Program to sustain its nutritional support program. Individuals or couples may pledge annual contributions starting at $2,500 per year. The program was named in honor of philanthropist and activist Jeannette Rockefeller, who helped establish the organization. The Angel Program is the heart of AAP.
