“90 Day: The Last Resort” Guys Go Wild at a Strip Club While Kalani Calls Marriage to Asuelu 'Torturing'

The end is near on 90 Day: The Last Resort.

After a stripper-filed escapade and a few too many drinks on Monday night’s episode, one couple seems to be barreling toward divorce, while others are fraying at the seams. This week's installment picked back up in the aftermath of Kalani Faagata’s night with another man off the resort's ground. Asuelu Pulaa still didn’t know the truth, and Kalani had reason to think their relationship was over for good.

But Kalani and Asuelu weren't the only ones getting in on the drama: Jovi Dufren’s quest for the strip club nearly left Ed "Big Ed" Brown and Elizabeth "Liz" Woods’ relationship in tatters after Ed swore he wouldn’t touch the strippers. And Michael Ilesanmi managed to get into a fight with Angela Deem at the club — despite only being there via FaceTime. Elsewhere, Yara Zaya questioned Jovi’s interest in seeing scantily clothed ladies dance.

Here’s how the things played out.

Kalani Questions Her Marriage to Asuelu

Kaliani was finally being honest with herself — and with the other women — on Monday's episode. She'd spent yet another night with the man she’d previously cheated with, and it seemed to put her marriage into context. “I think therapy made me realize that I put everybody else before myself,” she said. “I always want to help everybody else and do everything for them, and I need to do that for myself.”

Getting even more candid in a confessional, sharing, “I did my best to focus on my marriage, but having slept with Dallas kind of opened my eyes to a different world. There’s effort there that there’s never been with Asuelu.”

She also added later, “I think what’s kept me with Asuelu for so long is keeping my family unit together. But I think by doing that I’m always just torturing myself. I just feel like I’m going to lose something no matter what I pick. And when you’ve put as much time and energy and everything into a relationship like I have ... it just f---ing sucks.”

Angela comforted Kalani as she cried, reminding her that her marriage had unraveled long before this latest meet-up with Dallas. “You didn’t do this," Angela said of Asuelu's previous indiscretions. "This is the consequences he has to face. It shouldn’t be your guilt.”

The “sexy memaw” continued the thought in an interview: “Kalani should have left a long time ago. I feel her pain. I see it. She laughs one minute and then she’s crying the next. But at the end of the day, I think she has to make a decision for her. Not for everybody else.”

Asuelu was started to intuit what Kalani was up to, telling the guys, “I text her, ‘Good morning my beautiful, you want me to bring your same breakfast?’ and she was like — she’s not here. I think she is sleeping somewhere else.”

Ed gave Asuelu a little reality check on the state of his relationship: “You probably have to consider that it might not work. I know it sucks, but I just want you to start preparing yourself for both scenarios.”

Jovi expressed his concern in a confessional: “At this point, I don’t know what to think about Kalani and Asuelu. I would love to see them make it to the end, but I don’t see that happening right now.”

Ed had similar thoughts in his own interview. “Liz told me about Asuleu’s behavior and how many times he’s cheated on Kalani, but what Kalani is doing is kind of the same thing,” he said. “I commend Asuelu for not giving up, but at the same time, if I were in his shoes, I would probably try to cut my losses and move on.”

Strip Club Drama Ignites

Ed was in the doghouse immediately when he admitted he told Liz about the strip club idea. Jovi was not shocked at the betrayal. “I knew that Ed couldn’t keep a secret. He continues to be himself,” he said. “You know, I try to be the nice guy to Ed, try to include him, and he just turns around and stabs me in the back. If Yara finds out that I went to a strip club, it’s not gonna be good.”

To keep things cool in his relationship, Ed called Liz to ask permission to attend the club. She said yes, because Ed was honest with her, and he swore he’d keep his hands to himself. But what the boys didn’t know is Liz had Ed on speaker — so the other wives heard the whole plan.

“It’s so disappointing that Jovi want[s] to go to the strip club, which he knows that I don’t really like him to go over there,” Yara said. “But not just that, he also wants to keep it a secret from me. Like be f---ing honest with me.”

When they arrived at the club, Asuelu was at a loss for words to behold dancing like people “only watch in the movies.”

He explained, “First time looking [at] those things? Wow. I want to touch it.”

It was a free-for-all for the boys, who seemed to befriend two women in attendance. Ed got on stage to dance and even ripped off his shirt. Asuelu got a lap dance from two women, and Ed got a little handsy. According to Jovi, Ed “grabbed a stripper’s ass” while Yara’s husband said, “Since I’m married, I know the rules — look but don’t touch.”

Things got even worse when Asuelu called Michael on FaceTime. Immediately upon seeing the naked women, Michael said “no” a handful of times, and hung up. They called a second time for another quick chat with Michael, who wanted no part of the boy’s outing.

“I can see they are drunk at the strip club. It’s not my thing,” he said later in an interview. “I’m still trying to fix my marriage, and if Angela finds out that I’m on call with the guys, she will fly down to Nigeria and kick my ass.”

He was right. Angela and the girls were having a merry evening in the hot tub (complete with Liz and Angela flashing the group) when Angela learned that Michael was virtually included in the club night. At first, she was happy he’d hung up the phone. “That’s my baby," she told him. "You passed the first test.”

But Angela’s infamous temper flared when she learned the boys had called Michael again — and he answered. “You knew they were in a strip club. Why are you gonna answer the second call?” she yelled.

The moment subsided when Angela hung up on Michael, but her faith in him dropped quickly. “I’m holding onto my divorce papers for this reason, and I want to make sure he’s not playing me again,” Angela said.

Yara confronts Jovi about his love of strip clubs, and his decision to keep the outing a secret.

The morning after, there was one more strip club-related argument. As Jovi laid hungover in bed, Yara began to question her place in their marriage.

“You have a beautiful wife and you f---ing obsessed with the stupid strip club and bringing everybody over there,” Yara said. Crying, she said in a separate interview: “I don’t know what I can do f---ing better for [Jovi] not go over there.”

Jovi saw it all differently, saying in a confessional, “Now I feel like she’s just taking her insecurities out on me, and she’s making it more than what it needs to be.”
