John McManus and Megan Brown's engagement is one for the 90 Day Fiancé history books!

John popped the question to Megan on the 90 Day: The Single Life Tell All — marking them as the first couple to get engaged during a televised tell all in the series—  and PEOPLE got an exclusive look at the moment it happened.

In exclusive photos, John, in a dark blue and red patterned shirt and dark red slacks, could be seen dropping down on one knee in front of Megan, who wore a bright red over-the-shoulder dress with matching knee-high black boots, as she sat on the blue tell all couch.

Megan said yes, and he placed the ring, which featured a gold band with smaller diamonds that met in the center of a large diamond, on her finger. She showed off the new bling to the rest of the cast and the two shared a sweet kiss to seal the deal.

During the latest season, the couple could be seen navigating their new relationship after John moved in with Megan and her daughter. The pair appeared to conquer obstacles as they came into their relationship — including deciding how to take some time away to be romantic and overcoming difficult sleep arrangements.

John shared during a confessional that he thought of Megan as a "beautiful person," and noted that he was willing to make concessions about their sleeping arrangements after moving in, as he was "madly in love with her and I don't see myself spending the rest of my life with anybody else but her."
