'90 Day Fiancé' Star Ashley Martson Dealing With Lupus Flare-Up, Not Jenelle Evans

Ashley Martson, one of the stars of the reality show "90 Day Fiancé," was hospitalized this week with complications from lupus, while Jenelle Evans was not.

On Wednesday morning, an article on E! News said that Evans was the one who was hospitalized and even included direct quote from Evans about her condition. The story even included quotes from a source about how Evans had been "quietly dealing" with lupus and how the "extreme stress she has been under with the fight to get the kids back" caused her to be hospitalized.

The Blast published an article about Evans, trusting E! News' reporting. We have since updated our story to reflect the correct information.

We investigated the matter, and according our sources close to Jenelle, the person who gave the story to E! News explicitly said the story was about Martson. The representative works with both Evans and Martson. We're told the same person who was involved in the story, saw the E! News' incorrect story and immediately called them confused about the mix-up.

The news outlet then updated the article to be all about Martson, with no mention of Evans or the mistake.

The Blast reached out to E! News for comment but they have yet to respond.

Martson, who actually has lupus, has been anything but quiet about her condition. In January, she posted photos from her hospital bed after she was rushed to the hospital after she was found unresponsive in her home.

Martson shared the news on Instagram, writing, "The Ambulance took me to the hospital where it was found that I am in acute kidney failure due to lupus. I will begin dialysis shortly."

She continued, "I will not let this beat me. I know I’m strong enough to battle through this, not just for myself but for my kids. I will be transferred to another hospital this evening that is better equipped."

Martson concluded her post by saying, "Please pray for myself and my family as I know it’s going to be a very tough road ahead for all of us. Thank you for your continuous support and prayers."

She was also hospitalized last Christmas.
