“90 Day”: Big Ed and Liz's 'Blow Up' Fight Over Taco Pasta Ends with His Mysterious Disappearance (Exclusive)

In PEOPLE's exclusive look at the new '90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After' episode, Liz drives around Arkansas recounting their fight, which took place after Ed gave her daughter a meal that was "way too spicy"

Where in the world is “Big” Ed Brown?

That's the question on Elizabeth “Liz” Woods’ mind in PEOPLE’s exclusive peek at the couple’s upcoming 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After argument.

The clip shows Liz, 31, driving around her new hometown in Arkansas, explaining to cameras that Ed’s cooking skills caused a family rift so big, he decided to run away.

“Later after the fight, I go to bed, I wake up, and he’s gone,” she tells cameras.

The argument took place in front of Ed’s family, Liz said, and started when her 58-year-old fiancé gave her daughter a plate of his signature taco pasta.

“Ryleigh’s dish was just way too spicy for her, and Ed pretty much just told her, 'Stop being a baby.' I don't appreciate that,” Liz says. “And I called him out on it.”

What came next was a family affair. “Then he attacked me back, saying, 'Look at you, you're crazy,' and everything like that. So at this point we're arguing in front of his family,” Liz recalls.

Arguments are nothing new for Ed and Liz, considering they’ve broken up 14 times prior. But something is different this time. Instead of trying to talk things out, Ed took off. And Liz has no idea where they stand given the no-contact days.

“With this blow up, it's not like Ed tried to talk me through it or anything like that. It's just that Ed doesn't like being pulled into a corner or [having] to listen to how he messes up,” she explains to cameras.

Ed and Liz’s latest fight comes just weeks before they’re expected to walk down the aisle. Last week’s episode showed Ed setting ground rules about making a mess in the kitchen when Liz’s daughter was cooking a breakfast pizza. The engaged couple got in an argument about Ryleigh spilling a bit of flour, causing Ed to clean and reprimand.

Liz encouraged Ed to be less concerned with the mess, which they’d clean later. She also pointed to the stove, alleging he’d messied the space last time he made pasta. Ed called Liz a “brat” for her response, causing a family-wide argument, with Ryleigh in the middle.

Sunday’s episode may show Ed and Liz’s apologies — or prove their relationship is headed in the wrong direction pre-wedding.
