What a way to make a livin'!

Friends star Jennifer Aniston is producing a new remake of the classic Jane Fonda, Dolly Parton, and Lily Tomlin comedy 9 to 5, and we can't wait to see who stars in it!

News broke today that Aniston will be producing the new version of 9 to 5, and that Oscar-winning Juno writer Diablo Cody is currently working on a script.

The original starred three of the most iconic actresses of the 20th century, Dolly Parton, Lily Tomlin, and Jane Fonda, and while no casting has been announced for the new versions, we certainly have some ideas of who we'd love to see star in!

1. Trace Lysette

Lysette had a huge breakthrough moment with last year's Monica, and now, she deserves to be cast in everything! She definitely has the range and the looks to play Parton's role!

2. Sarah Paulson

When it comes to great queer actors of her generation, Paulson stands above the crowd. In many ways, she's the heir to Lily Tomlin, and we'd love to see her step into her role!

3. Tessa Thompson

Tessa Thompson is beautiful, funny, talented, and magnetic, and she'd be so perfect playing a working woman plotting against her boss.

4. Stephanie Beatriz

Beatriz was hilarious as Rosa Diaz in Brooklyn 99, so she knows how to nail an office comedy. Whether she uses the deadpan she put on in that show or her natural voice, she'll nail it.

5. Niecy Nash

Nash is a true comedy icon. She won her first Emmy recently, and deserves some starring film roles just as big.

6. Abbi Jacobson

Jacobson absolutely shined as the star and co-creator of the baseball comedy series A League of Their Own, and since that show was canceled, we need to see her in a new project soon!

7. Janelle Monáe

Just like Dolly Parton in the original, Monáe is a talented actor who could write a new hit song for the new movie!

8. Lily Gladstone

No one in Hollywood is hotter than Lily Gladstone. She was recently cast in the romantic comedy remake The Wedding Banquet, and we'd love to see her in this movie!

9. Michaela Jaé Rodriguez

Rodriguez made history as Bianca Evangelista in Pose, a role for which she won a Golden Globe and was nominated for an Emmy. Movie stardom should be next!
