The 9-1-1 world may be getting some surprise visitors sometime soon.

Oliver Stark, who plays firefighter Buck on the long-running series, tells PEOPLE at the season 7 premiere in Beverly Hills on Monday that his favorite stunt in the new season comes pretty early on — and it also sees the crew overlap with another ABC show’s world.

“There's a really fun emergency, and it's not necessarily the biggest in terms of spectacle, but in the fifth episode of the season, there's one that kind of touches base with another ABC show,” Stark, 32, teases. “So I'm really excited for that just because I think it will be a good watch for the audience.”

Stark says that the episode brings a “crossover of sorts” — and we're guessing it'll be with Grey’s Anatomy, or, more likely, fellow firefighter series Station 19, especially since all three shows make up the network's on Thursday night lineup.

“It's not a direct crossover, but there's a feel of it,” Stark says before clarifying that it does not involve another Ryan Murphy show.

The upcoming crossover will not be the first time Firehouse 118 spent some times with players from another show.

In 2021, Stark and his crew left L.A. to lend a hand to Station 126 in Texas in the first crossover between 9-1-1 and 9-1-1: Lone Star.

The actor tells PEOPLE they all had “a great time” filming the two crossover episodes, which aired during 9-1-1: Lone Star’s second season and season 4 of 9-1-1.

“It was nice from the story world because I just love seeing characters from the few shows interact, but it was also nice just to go and experience their set,” Stark recalls.

ABCs '9-1-1' stars Oliver Stark, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Kenneth Choi, Angela Bassett, Peter Krause, Aisha Hinds, Gavin McHugh, and Ryan Guzman.

In the episode, Buck and other firefighters from Station 118 helped out Captain Strand (Rob Lowe) and his team as an out-of-control wildfire ripped through Texas.

Now that 9-1-1 airs on ABC, while Lone Star remains on Fox, Stark admits he’s not sure if another crossover is likely between the two fire stations. “If it was possibly going to happen again, I would love that.”

Season 7 of 9-1-1 premieres Thursday and kicks off with Bobby Nash (Peter Krause) and Athena Grant (Angela Bassett) on what is supposed to be a "belated honeymoon" on a cruise, but turns out to be just another day on the job for the couple.

As their ship begins to capsize, the rest of the 118 is on land and trying to track down Bobby and Athena, as their cruise ship is nowhere to be found, so they embark on a rescue mission.

Meanwhile, there are other fires to put out — literally. According to the official logline for the episode, a fighter jet "traps a civilian" and an "unusual" incident forces a couple together, so the 118 has their hands full.

Stark says that his favorite scene from the premiere episode is a moment between Buck and Eddie (Ryan Guzman) as they put out a car fire.

"There's something about the show when you get to see these guys doing their job, but also the personal side and the way those kind of blend together," he explains, before teasing that it's "very low-key compared to what happens towards the end" of the episode.
