‘9-1-1': The 118 Looks for Survivors After Lab Explosion (Exclusive Video)

The 118 is springing into action after an explosion rocked Karen’s (Tracie Thoms) workplace in the final moments of last week’s Season 6 episode. In an exclusive clip of tonight’s episode, titled “Tomorrow,” Bobby (Peter Krause) directs the crew to search for survivors and curtail the immense damage to the science lab.

In the brief clip, which you can view above, the team identifies toxic gas in the air, as well as pressurized oxygen and organic peroxide. Buck (Oliver Stark) also observes the lab’s broken sprinkler system, which has allowed spot fires to dissipate.

In Ep. 6 of the Fox procedural, Hen (Aisha Hinds) fears for Karen’s life as she learns of the explosion, where their son Denny (Declan Pratt) had also spent the day for a school assignment. The episode also toggles through the couple’s origin story and progression of their relationship, as the two fight to remain together in the present day.

“9-1-1” Season 6 also stars Angela Bassett as Athena Grant-Nash, Ryan Guzman as Eddie Diaz, Corinne Massiah as May Grant and Gavin McHugh as Christopher Diaz. The series was created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Tim Minear.

New episodes air on Fox on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
