After a theatrical run, oddball horror-comedy Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls has landed on VOD and Screambox.

Get Onyx

The Bloody Disgusting-backed film is the brainchild of Andrew Bowser, who has played the character in multiple viral videos before embarking on this cinematic adventure.

You can get a taste of the Onyx action in the retro-style trailer below.

In Onyx the Fortuitous and the Talisman of Souls, a throwback to the retro fun of the ’80s and ’90s, Onyx is struggling to find purpose with his soul-devouring side gig when he receives a coveted invitation to the mansion of his idol, Bartok the Great. Here, he joins Bartok and his mysterious delegation to raise the spirit of an ancient demon for a once-in-a-lifetime ritual.

The Screambox release has a throwback poster to mark the occasion.
