80’s rock music tribute band promises wild night at Stormont Vail Event Center

TOPEKA (KSNT) – A rock and roll tribute band is due to perform in the Capital City later this month, bringing with them the classic tunes of ‘KISS,’ ‘Motley Crue,’ ‘Van Halen’ and more.

The Stormont Vail Event Center is hosting the band ‘Hairball’ from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday, May 11. Tickets, starting at $20, are currently on sale through Ticketmaster and the Cable Dahmer Box Office.

Hairball pays tribute to big name bands of the 80’s by delivering over-the-top performances to evoke feelings of nostalgia in the crowd. Music from ‘Aerosmith,’ ‘Queen,’ ‘Journey’ and more are featured in Hairball’s performances.

The band visited Topeka in 2022 for a performance at the Topeka Performing Arts Center. They also performed in last year’s Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson.
