The New Year got off to a very casual start for Chip and Joanna, who proudly rang in 2017 wearing adult onesies because cocktail attire is so 2016.

For better or worse, these two always find a way to make it through the hairy times. “Chip loves to tweeze my gray hairs (I know I know not good but sometimes you just gotta do it),” she writes on this photo of her husband lending a helping hand (and a sharp eye).

Chip uses a sweet Walt Whitman sentiment in a Valentine’s Day ode to his wife. “We were together. I forgot the rest,” he captions on this shot.

The parents of four are on the same page when it comes to the belief that fame doesn’t hold a candle to their family’s happiness. “We are thankful for our success,” Chip told PEOPLE in October. “But if it ever compromised our ability to be a healthy married couple or our kids started to get a little bit off track, we would quit this thing in a heartbeat.”

Juggling an HGTV show, a magazine, a wildly successful vacation rental, several product lines and their ever-expanding Magnolia Market at the Silos project, Chip and Joanna have a lot on their plate. But while some couples would find working together every day exhausting, these two seem to have found the perfect balance that keeps us forever hooked on their adorableness.
“Somehow the cards were dealt and Jo and I love to work together,” Chip told PEOPLE in October. “We love to be together, but we joke to some of our friends that if we hadn’t gotten so lucky we probably would have killed each other by now.”
Joanna added, “We’re passionate about what we do, we love the business of home and we really like each other.”
