Every Saturday on the lawn of the West Branch Library, hundreds of vendors from local farmers and producers to bakers to artists and craftsmen have pop-up shops for visitors to discover local products.

Library Day at Wesselman Woods

9 a.m., Wesselman Woods, 551 N. Boeke Road. Free.

EVPL and Wesselman Woods are teaming up for a day of learning about nature. Get into the Nature Center at Wesselmans Woods for free by flashing any regional library card and once inside, enjoy a day of hikes, storytime and animal encounters.

Kids Comic Con

10 a.m. to 2 p.m., CMoe-Koch Family Children's Museum of Evansville, 22 SE 5th St,

The convention is dedicated to the kids with Princess Story Time, Jedi Academy, Evansville Ghostbusters, meetings with real-life superheroes and NASA Ambassador Mandy Scurry, face painting, arts and crafts, and educational activities. There will be a costume contest held at noon in the Freedom Gallery with categories including Best Superhero, Best Family/Group, Best Superhero Move, Scariest Costume, and Most Original.
