The fourth season of Killing Eve is just days away.

Unfortunately, it's also the final season.

Which means fans haven't got much longer to pore over all their theories about how the show will end.
BBC America / AMC
Here are some of the theories they've come up with:
1.Villanelle and Eve will make it official

Redditor dangerinthedaylight posted: "I've decided to put on full clown makeup and believe that Villanelle and Eve ARE together (or will be by the first episode), and the trailer is purposefully making it look like they aren't in order to troll us/surprise us when the show actually premieres."
I wholeheartedly support this theory and will be furious if it's not true.
2.Any other love interests are just cannon fodder
YouTuber Midnight Library commented on the Season 4 teaser: "I know some people are cautious because of the new love interests, but I think they’re being introduced just to be killed off for the final season. It’s one last way to keep Villanelle and Eve apart before they intensely reunite (like in every season) and to increase the body count for the final season."
If this ends up being the case, I think there's a fair chance that Villanelle will dispose of Eve's apparent beau Yusuf, since, as another commenter pointed out, in the trailer we see him choking Eve in the woods. The trailer also opens on Villanelle in the woods (looking a bit out of breath) so it's possible these shots are from the same scene or episode.
Plus, on top of not wanting Eve to die, Villanelle has always had a very "No one chokes Eve but me" mentality.
3.Villanelle will be killed by MI6 and Eve will join the 12
@bbcamerica / AMC
"Villanelle is most likely to die because all things burned in teasers are somehow connected with her," Redditor fufuvvm wrote in the Killing Eve subreddit.
Twitter user thegood1sIpckle also thinks there's a chance Villanelle will die, based on the posters for the new season.
4.Yusuf will be responsible for Villanelle's death
BBC America / AMC
"Eve should keep a close eye [on] her partner Yusuf I think he is a double agent for THE 12 [from] what I seen in the trailer," wrote Redditor Positive-Union5494. "I think he is trying to get close to Eve to get to Villanelle and kill her."
There definitely seems to be something up with this guy — he screams untrustworthiness.
5.Konstantin will be revealed as Villanelle's biological father
@bbcamerica / AMC / Via giphy.com
This theory has actually been floating around for a while, but if it ends up being true, what better time for it to come out than at the eleventh hour?
6.Konstantin will die
@bbcamerica / AMC / Via giphy.com
If Konstantin is revealed to be Villanelle's dad, I can totally see her finding out perhaps moments before or sometime after he dies — whether at her hands or someone else's.
7.Eve and Villanelle are endgame
@bbcamerica / AMC / Via giphy.com
Midnight Library also wrote: "I think that they’re going to play with the idea that one or both of them will die, but they’ll subvert expectations at the end by having them both live together domestically."
I would personally love to see them get the ending Fannibals have been gunning for Hannibal Lecter and Will Graham to eventually have, but, if you ask me...
8.Villanelle and Eve will both die
@bbcamerica / AMC
This is my own theory, and one that I truly hope is wrong. Like I said, I would love for the two of them to live happily ever after, but unless they both endure some sort of head trauma that drastically alters their prefrontal cortexes it's really hard to see that happening.
Plus, as one YouTuber pointed out, "Eve and Villanelle seeing each other through the fish tank was a great allusion to the 1996 version of Romeo + Juliet," and we all know how that turned out.
I imagine if Eve and Villanelle don't survive, their deaths will at least be very romantic and devastating and theatrical — in other words, what we've come to expect from Killing Eve.
