Naples Invitational: The newest exhibit at Naples Art, 585 Park St., Naples, will showcase local artists from July 8-Oct. 15. Curated by Naples Art Executive Director and Chief Curator Frank Verpoorten, "this exhibit will feature an intergenerational and interdisciplinary group of approximately 40 artists, whose dynamic works reflect the complexities and opportunities of the American experience today," Naples Art's website reads. Frida and Her Garden: Exhibit that runs through Sept. 10 explores the influence of home and nature to Frida Kahlo's work. The exhibit at Naples Botanical Garden, 4820 Bayshore Drive, Naples, re-created portions of La Casa Azul (the Blue House), Kahlo's residence in Mexico City’s Coyoacán borough, and the expansive garden surrounding it. PALM COTTAGE TOURS IN NAPLES
Palm Cottage: The oldest house in Naples is reopening. Self-guided tours resumed in early April, with docents on hand to answer questions. No RSVP needed.
