  • Vera Wang knows how to throw herself a birthday party, and the 73-year-old kicked off this new year of life with a big bash.

  • For her party, the fashion designer opted for a matching sequined crop top and miniskirt that showed off her strong abs and long, toned legs.

  • Vera started working out more with friends during the pandemic.

ICYMI, Vera Wang just celebrated her 73rd birthday and, naturally, she did it in high style.

The designer dropped a few pics of herself singing karaoke with friends while working a pink sequined mini skirt, matching cropped tube top, and toned legs and abs for days. Are any of you surprised? Because I'm not!

🎶🎤Rollin’ down the river……,” she wrote in the caption. People cheered her on in the comments. “I’m not gonna look like that at 73 . Wow 😮,” one person said. “HAPPY BIRTHDAY Vera! You look fabulous! 🎈🎈🎈🎂🎂🎂💐💐💐🎉🎉🎉🥂🙂❤️✌️🙋♀️,” wrote another.

Vera followed her first post up with more pics from her afterparty, which looked super fun, BTW.

The designer shared with Harper’s Bazaar that she has stepped up her fitness routine since the pandemic started. At first, she was quarantining in Miami with her “workday fashion family," who influenced her fitness regimen. “All of them are extremely fit, which pushed me to work out most days," she shared.

In another interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Vera said that she likes to cycle and lift on a regular basis. The designer added that she’ll "usually lift weights" each day and that she keeps it speedy, using “two pounds and three pounds. It takes me a total of five minutes."

Vera is big on consistency when it comes to her diet, telling Harper’s Bazaar that her goal is to “never miss a meal,” adding, “I have to feed my brain.”

But she said she also likes to mix things up. "I go through phases with what I eat for lunch,” she said. “I like sashimi with brown rice and vegetables, Chinese steamed broccoli with chicken and rice, or the artichoke salad or fish from Sant Ambroeus."

And that health focus applies to her beverages, too! "I only drink water; I stopped drinking Diet Coke six years ago,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “That was the hardest thing I ever gave up."

HBD, Vera!
