71-Year-Old Man Claims He’s Jobless Because His Parents Never Supported Him

A man who claims he's been compared to Frank Sinatra explains why he blames his parents, in part, for his inability to have a successful singing career.

Bill says that five days after his now-wife from Azerbaijan moved to the United States to live with him and his mom, his mom kicked the two of them out of her house. Now Bill and Gulshan are homeless, and Bill claims it’s a struggle for him to find work.

“I sang for 25 years. Frank Sinatra got me my first secular singing job. I wanted to be like Sinatra,” Bill says, claiming that he’s known as the Sinatra of the Ukraine. “I pack out all the theaters and I only make like $120 when I sing for 5,000 people. I can’t get a job in this country, not in what, 10, 12, 15 years singing.”

“It’s because of your personality, Bill. Your personality is bad,” his mother, Pearl, tells him.

In the video above, Bill explains why he blames his mom and dad, in part, for his inability to have a successful singing career. This episode of Dr. Phil airs Thursday. Watch more here.
