6 Nashville-area restaurants just made Wine Spectator's list of top spots

Six Middle Tennessee restaurants were recently added to Wine Spectator's list of awarded restaurants.

Wine Spectator Awards are given to restaurants whose wine lists provide interesting selections that coincide with the cuisines being served and appeal to a wide range of wine drinkers. More than 3,500 restaurants have been recognized, including 44 in Tennessee.

The awards are broken down into three award categories: Award of Excellence, Best Award of Excellence and Grand Award. The six Middle Tennessee restaurants added to the awards list this year are:

Entrees prepared by Chef Andrew Carmellini and Chef della Cucina Levi Raines include "house made pastas, seafood and of course, the main attraction: prime-aged beef, wagyu and prime rib, served with a selection of steakhouse contorni," reads their website description.
