Here are 6 Easter egg hunts in Johnson County happening before and during Easter weekend

The Easter Bunny will be busy hiding eggs across Johnson County in the final week before Easter, with more than 15,000 eggs spread throughout the various functions.

Here are six Easter egg hunts to mark your calendars, from free events to egg hunts for adults.

The Great 80 Acre Easter Egg Hunt at Wilson's Orchard

Roam the 80-acre orchard in Iowa City for Easter eggs, take a photo with the Easter Bunny, and receive a take-home bunny bag full of goodies.

There are no age restrictions for this event.

Tickets are $10 per hunter, and parents have no admission fee. Extra add-ons like egg painting and horse rides are available for an additional charge.

The Great 80 Acre Easter Egg Hunt has many time slots over two weekends: Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24 and March 30 and March 31.

Easter Brunch & Egg Hunt at Backpocket Brewing

Backpocket Brewing is hosting a free Easter egg hunt with an Easter brunch menu on the Sunday before Easter, March 24. The egg hunt will take place at 11 a.m., with eggs hidden around the patio or inside. Rain or shine, the egg hunt will be happening. There will be other festive activities, such as egg painting. Guests can register for the egg hunt on Backpocket's website. The brunch menu will be offered from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

North Liberty's Best Academy and Anderson's ATA Taekwondo Annual Easter Egg Hunt

North Liberty's annual Easter egg hunt will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, at Centennial Park. Best Academy and Anderson's ATA Taekwondo will distribute 10,000 Easter eggs across the park, which will be filled with prizes and candy. The Easter Bunny will also be on hand. Organizers suggest showing up early to get a picture.

Tiffin Easter Egg Hunt 

The Tiffin Easter Egg Hunt will have more than 4,000 eggs spread across the Tiffin Auxiliary Fields on Saturday, March 23. The event will run from 10-11:30 a.m., which includes time with baby chicks, a visit from the Easter Bunny, and an obstacle course. The egg hunt will start at 10:30 a.m. and will be split into age groups.

An allergy-free hunt will be available, too.

The brewery's annual Easter egg hunt starts on Easter Sunday at The Iowa City Taproom. There will be five egg hunts throughout the morning, split between age groups.

Big Grove Brewery's fourth annual Easter Egg Hunt

The brewery's annual Easter egg hunt starts on Easter Sunday (March 31) at The Iowa City Taproom. There will be five egg hunts throughout the morning, split between age groups. The first egg hunt will begin at 10:30 a.m. for children three and under and end at 12:30. An Easter egg hunt for adults filled with tokens for free beer will be held as well. Food service will be available from Big Grove's brunch menu and daily menu. The brunch menu includes French toast sticks, pancakes and sausage on a stick, and brunch burger.

Amana Colonies Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Head to the Amana Colonies on Saturday, March 30, for an Easter egg hunt that begins at 9 a.m. at the Amana Heritage Museum. The hunt is for children ages 12 and under. Kids will get an Easter basket of goodies with the purchase of an $8 ticket. Prepayment is required by visiting the Amana Colonies' website.
