On Friday, Jennifer Lopez showed off a stunning casual look on Instagram in a carousel of images captioned, “La-La-Lavender,” and wished her followers a “Happy Friday.” The photos featured J.Lo absolutely glowing in a plunging purple top with ruched stitching that accentuated the smooth expanse of her décolletage. The blouse was tucked into flared blue jeans with a high waist, showing off her hour-glass figure.
Lopez accessorized the look with layers of chains and a pair of open-toe platform heels. Her dark brown hair was pulled back in a simple bun with a few flowing pieces framing her face, which was done in simple makeup and a glossy lip.
Both pieces are from designer Et Ochs, the jeans hailing from their Pre-fall 2022 collection while the lavender bodysuit was made custom for J.Lo. It is expected that a similar piece will be in their Spring 2022 collection.
The actress and singer is currently promoting the new movie Marry Me with Owen Wilson, in which Lopez plays a woman scorned by her famous pop star fiancé, who is played by actual pop star Maluma. They're supposed to get married on stage in front of a crowded stadium of fans, but it turns out he's having an affair with her assistant. The first man she sees in the crowd, she marries on the spot, and he's played by Owen Wilson.
Lopez posted recently about the film's soundtrack.
She captioned a montage of the movie and music on her Instagram, “Marry Me Movie soundtrack tracklist activated!!! Listen to the new On My Way @TELYKast remix and pre-save the soundtrack at 12am local time!!! Soundtrack drops February 4!!!”
Lopez also shared the Marry Me trailer, which shows that Lopez's character slowly comes to realize her spontaneous decision is the best one she's ever made.
It really wouldn't be a romantic comedy if she didn't.
