50 Cent wants Ice Cube to bring his BIG3 League to Louisiana.

50 hit Instagram after attending a game between the Boston Celtics and the Houston Rockets on Tuesday (Jan. 16), sharing several pictures showing his fans love at the TD Garden right before snapping it up with Cube. Fif used the carousel of photos to reveal that he talked business with the multi-hyphenate. “I had so much fun at the Boston/Rockets game man. I told @icecube I want to bring the big 3 to Shreveport, all roads lead to Shreveport it’s a go! ?@bransoncognac@lecheminduroi,” 50 captioned his post.

Cube’s BIG3 League has 12 active teams participating in the “barnstorming” format. “Barnstorming” is the concept of sports teams trekking to various locales for exhibition games. Under this format, teams don’t belong to an individual city and are modeled like traveling attractions. The latest BIG3 season saw the twelve teams journeying to Dallas, Brooklyn, Memphis, Miami, Boston, Chicago, Charlotte and Detroit.

As for 50 Cent, the mogul set up shop in Louisiana in 2023. Fox 8 Live reported that the businessman acquired a lease for a city-owned studio in Shreveport, La. The property was reportedly listed at an annual cost of $2,400.

KSLA News 12 reported that the city council unanimously approved Fif’s inquiry to lease Millennium Studio. The agreement stated that G-Unit Films would manage and handle the building maintenance. It was approved for a 30-year lease with an option to renew for another 15 years.

Louisiana Councilwoman Tabitha Taylor spoke to the outlet about the new agreement with 50 Cent. “We already know that 50 Cent is a mighty mogul in the entertainment business. But, the residual effects for local businesses here is what’s going to be felt. We have rebranded Shreveport in the entertainment industry, and now we are considering ourselves back again as an entertainment mecca,” Taylor asserted.

Shortly after, Fif spread the word on social media that G-Unit was back up. “All Roads lead to Shreveport,” he typed. “If you ready to work in ?film and television. G-unit studios is officially in Louisiana. ?BOOM? GLG?GREENLIGHTGANG @bransoncognac @lecheminduroi@thefinallaptour.”
