Update: 4:20 p.m. ET (Sept. 12 2023) — A rep for 50 Cent has confirmed that photos shared by the rapper, mistakenly assumed to be of Ciara in nothing but her undies, was in fact not the “How We Roll” singer.

“Two different models are featured on the Curtis album cover, neither of whom is Ciara,” confirmed the television producer’s rep.

50 Cent doesn’t care about what anyone has to say when it comes to what he shares on social media. On Monday (Sept. 11), as he celebrated the 16th anniversary of his third studio album, Curtis, the rapper-turned-media mogul shared suggestive images of his ex-girlfriend, Ciara, from a promotional shoot.

“I dropped this album 16 years ago today, I had so much s**t going on in the street. I was writing Curtis 187, I told @tonyyayo these fools crazy they think I’m scared. So we have an advantage, they stupid. LOL,” he wrote on Instagram.

Fif and the “How We Roll” singer linked up in 2006 for their collaboration, “Can’t Leave ‘Em Alone.” This summertime jam peaked at No. 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. The two then began dating the following year. They were together for roughly three years before their split in 2010.

Some fans dismissed the album anniversary and instead chose to address the racy photos of Ciara, where she’s only wearing a pair of lacy underwear and heels and the two are intimately embracing one another.

One person wrote, “Yo, that’s someone’s wife now Fif. Take these posts down! Lol!” Two others chimed in by writing, “Damn not Ciara Wilson already took an L last night” and “Braaa just really came up with a slick way to post Ciara!” She has not directly addressed the post.

Ciara and her husband of seven years, Russell Wilson, are currently expecting their third child together. The singer made the surprise announcement last month, ahead of the release of her newest EP, CiCi.
