50 Cent Mocks Harvey Weinstein Accusers Over $25 Million Settlement
Rapper 50 Cent is trashing the 30 women who accused Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault after the news broke of a $25 million settlement being reached.
The “Power” star posted a screenshot of a New York Times Article which said, “$25 Million. The amount of a tentative settlement agreement reached by Harvey Weinstein and his former studio with dozen of his accusers. Weinstein, accused of offenses ranging from sexual harassment to rape, won’t have to admit wrongdoing or pay anything to his accusers himself.”
A total of 30 victims could be paid out with no women getting more than $500,000. $12 million of the $25 million will not go towards victims but instead cover legal fees for Harvey, his brother Bob and board members. The deal, if approved, would protect Harvey from future liability and end the majority of the lawsuits against him.
50 Cent had a different take on the settlement. He captioned the post, “Damn so this sh-t was a big money grab 🤦♂#lecheminduroi #bransoncognac #starzgettheapp #abcforlife.”
He appears to be accusing Weinstein’s accuser of coming forward for money. 50 Cent did appear in the film “Southpaw” which Weinstein’s company was behind.

Rapper Waka Flocka commented on 50’s post saying, “But Bill in prison", a reference to Bill Cosby.
The problem with that statement is Weinstein is still facing prison time. He pleaded not guilty to charges relating to two incidents. He is accused of raping a woman in a Manhattan hotel in 2013. The other incident accuses Weinstein of a forcible sex act on another woman in 2006.
He is facing up to 25 years behind bars in his pending criminal case out of New York. A judge recently increased his bail from $1 million to $2 million.
