The beef started with rapper French Montana posting a picture of his new car and has now escalated to him called other rapper 50 Cent a government informant.

On December 29th, French Montana uploaded a post that said, "FRESH OUT OF ICU WOKE UP IN THAT NEW BUGGATTI!!! LIL GIFT TO MYSELF! FEEL LIKE A BOSS MOVE LIKE A BOSS AND TASTE LIKE A BOSS."

However, 50 Cent, who just purchased a new car for himself, decided to take to social media and blast French Montana for buying a used Bugatti.

With the Bugatti beef underway on both Twitter and Instagram, fans took their sides of the feud and started piling on the comments.

"'WOKE UP IN THAT USED BUGGATTI !!!'," one Instagram user said.

On Fif's twitter post, another user said, "It's still a bugatti fif and the price still $1,990,000 so sh*t still balling to me you just another level of rich man."

But the fight was just beginning and French Montana was not going to let this one go down easy.

The posts started coming from "Writing on the Wall" rapper.

In one Instagram post, he states, " CONGRATS TO ME 59 lol ..... IS THIS SUPPOSED TO BE FUNNY ??!! LOL U REALLY MAD IM WAVIER THAN YOU ... YOU UNWAVY CREATURE 😂 GET YOUR INFO RIGHT SHOW THE PAPER WORK DINOSAUR ...YOU DO IN EVERY OTHER CASE YOU RODENT 🐀YOU DONT EVEN OWN ONE .... FRONTIN LIKE YOU GOT ONE U FUNNY 59 !! YOU GOT A LAWSUIT WITH MANHATTAN MOTORS FOR RETURNING ALL THEM CARS YOU TOLD THEM YOU WAS BUYING AND THAT’S BIG FACTS."

In another, he posted pictures of Eminem and 50 Cent kissing.

50 Cent also decided to post a few replies to French. The most notable was of a new car with text that said, "no 08 POWER is back tune in... Feb 11," as well as tags that linked to a few of Fif's projects.

Other than that one post, the Power star hasn't poked the flames that much. But, that didn't stop French Montana from continuing his search for dirt on the rap star he was feuding with on social media.

In an Instagram post that was put up yesterday, the "Slide" rapper said, "WHERE IM FROM IT DOESNT GET NO WORSE THAN THIS... A REAL LIFE RAT."

The post shows documents that list Curtis Jackson, professionally known as 50 Cent, as an informant. Fif's name is even highlighted and zoomed in on to make sure that it is not missed.

The paperwork that was shone has actually followed 50 Cent for a while. It was even used by Ja Rule to stir their feud but it has never been proved as real.

I doubt this will be the end of the beef between the two well-known rappers, even if that's what French Montana was hoping.

Maybe this car war will result in a couple of dis tracks or maybe it will stay strictly online through social media. All that can be said is that, for a fight that started over a car, this has gone quite a long way.

Nothing can be certain when two large rap names like this step up to the plate to knock each other down.
