Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson accidentally flexed his muscles too hard while filming the latest Expendables movie.

On Tuesday, Expend4bles stunt coordinator Alan Ng told PopCulture.com that a collision between Jackson, 48, and a stunt performer during filming for the new action sequel resulted in one stunt performer sustaining a dislocated finger.

"50 Cent is very powerful and strong so that made it very easy to work with him," Ng told the outlet, as he described working with Jackson and Megan Fox as they joined Sylvester Stallone, Dolph Lundgren and Jason Statham for the series' fourth installment.

"We played to the fact that Megan has a strong dance background," the stunt coordinator said. "Megan's style is very agile, flexible, and fast. Whereas 50 Cent is very powerful and strong, so he's like a tank. He was actually so strong that in one of the scenes, he was supposed to barge into a stunt performer and his strength resulted in the guy going flying and [he] dislocated his finger."

"The guy and his finger are ok now of course," Ng added.

Representatives for Jackson did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment Thursday. The rapper-turned-actor did share a screenshot of a news story related to Ng's comments on Instagram Wednesday, where he even noted in the caption that he has lost some weight since filming Expend4bles.

"I was 237 lbs in EXPENDABLES 4 I’m back down to 208," he wrote. "I still got a little POWER check out the movie."

The fourth movie in the Expendables franchise began showing at theaters across the country last Friday. The film made just over $8 million at the domestic box office in its opening weekend, which put it just behind The Nun II as the box office's top performer last weekend. The film's plot revolves around Barney Ross (Stallone, 76) recruiting Lee Christmas (Statham, 55) to join him again on another mission to save the world.

Fox, 37, and Jackson are the newcomers along for the ride this time, costarring alongside series mainstays Lundgren, 65, and Randy Couture, 60.  Tony JaaIko Uwais, Jacob Scipio, Levy Tran and Andy Garcia also appear in the new movie, which marks Stallone's last appearance in the action franchise.

The movie also marks Jackson's first film appearance since 2019's Escape Plan: The Extractors. According to his IMDb page, Jackson has filmed or expects to film three more movie projects in the near future.

Expend4bles is in theaters now.
