5 Tips for the Perfect Post-Apocalyptic Funeral According to ‘Last Man on Earth’
On Sunday’s episode of Last Man on Earth, the gang held Phil Stacy Miller’s funeral. And while it was tragic, Phil Tandy Miller gave the best funeral we all could have hoped for. We opened on his funeral — a “Viking funeral” organized by Tandy, though Erica insisted that it was not what Phil Stacy Miller would have wanted. Tandy stood confidently in front of the coffin and said, “Today, we send him off the only way that truly makes sense. A viking funeral.”
This being Tandy, he of course needed to make it all about himself. He delivered a speech at Phil Stacy Miller’s funeral that may not have been sensitive, but it was at least comical. Tandy said. “Phil Miller got knocked down. And this time … he did not get up again. We raise a whiskey drink. We raise a vodka drink. What a hero.”
Last Man on Earth airs Sundays at 9:30 p.m. on Fox.
