5 things to do: 'A Christmas Carol,' WWE in Canton, Holly Pine Lane, The O'Jays
1. 'Christmas Carol' at Mount Union
"A Christmas Carol" adaptation will be presented this weekend at the University of Mount Union.
Performances will be today through Sunday in Brush Performance Hall of the Giese Center for the Performing Arts, 67 W. Simpson St. in Alliance.
Friday and Saturday shows are at 7:30 p.m. Sunday's performance is at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors and veterans. All children and students are free, but tickets must be ordered by calling the box office at 330-821-2565.

Mount Union theatre Shakespeare at the Castle marking 10th anniversary with support of '3rd Rock' actor
Kevin P. Kern, Mount Union's professor of theater, wrote the "Christmas Carol" adaptation and is directing the production. Tyrick Wiltez Jones will play the role of Ebenezer Scrooge as the Jack and Madge Peters Visiting Artist for 2023.
Wiltez Jones has appeared in a variety of productions, including "Ain't Misbehavin'" at the Hanna Theatre at Playhouse Square in Cleveland. Broadway credits include "Finian's Rainbow" and "Hairspray." "Seussical," "Fosse" and "Show Boat" are among his Broadway national touring credits.
2. WWE wrestling in Canton on Saturday
WWE's Saturday's Main Event will be at Canton Memorial Civic Center on Saturday.

The Civic Center is in downtown Canton at 1101 Market Ave. N.
Other upcoming WWE events in Ohio include Monday night RAW on Dec. 11 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in downtown Cleveland.
3. Holly Pine Lane at Stadium Park
Holly Pine Lane is a free holiday event on Saturday and Sunday inside the Canton Garden Center, coinciding with the display of holiday lights in Stadium Park.
Holly Pine Lane hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the garden center, 1615 Stadium Park Drive NW.
Holly Pine Lane features Santa and decorated Christmas trees, as well as indoor lighting displays and children's activities. Crafts and treats are for sale at the Christmas shop.
4. The O'Jays at MGM Northfield Park
The O'Jays will perform Saturday night at MGM Northfield Park.
Starting out in Canton in the 1950s, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame singing group has been performing across the country on the "Last Stop On The Love Train" tour.
Hit songs include "Love Train," "For the Love of Money," "I Love Music" and "Back Stabbers."

The O'Jays also will perform Sunday at The Andrew J Brady Music Center in Cincinnati.
5. 'Million Dollar Quartet Christmas' at KSU Stark
The "Million Dollar Quartet Christmas" will be performed Saturday and Sunday by Players Guild Theatre at Kent State University at Stark.
The classic production features iconic early music stars Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Parks and Elvis Presley ringing in the holidays at Sun Studios.
Performances will be in The Mary J. Timken Theatre at the Fine Arts Building, 6000 Frank Ave. NW in Jackson Township.
Tickets, $25 to $45, are available at https://playersguildtheatre.com/. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
