1. HBO Go: Good news for fans of “Girls” and other HBO favorites. HBO Go will be coming soon to Sony’s PlayStation 3 video game console, with an app for the just-released PlayStation4 to follow, the pay cable network announced today. No word on what they mean by “soon.” Meanwhile, HBO CEO Richard Plepler said in an interview with BuzzFeed that people sharing HBO Go passwords “has no impact on the business.”

2. Attn: Kubrick Fans: Filmmaker Joey Shanks recently created a cool instructional video which shows viewers how to use Front Screen Projection, the technique Kubrick used for the “Dawn of Man” segment of his masterpiece “2001: A Space Odyssey.” Check it out here.

3. Netflix: Big news for Netflix: they’ve got their first-ever Oscar nomination and could be celebrating their first-ever Academy Award for “The Square,” which made the list of Best Feature Documentaries and, as of midnight last night/this morning, is streaming on Netflix.
