“We sort of got in trouble because we, like, weren’t really hanging out [with anyone else],” Feldstein told Vanity Fair.

But in a pre-cell phone world, the two weren’t able to connect again until they attended the same high school together. Then at 24 years old, the two starred in Broadway shows across the street from each other.

Jonah Hill and Adam Levine

Meanwhile, Feldstein’s big brother Jonah Hill became friends with Adam Levine through their dads.

“Our dads met in the principal’s office in junior high,” Hill told Howard Stern in 2014. “We were in carpool. We lived at each other’s houses.”

Hill officiated Levine and Behati Prinsloo’s wedding. Meanwhile, his older brother, the late Jordan Feldstein, was Maroon 5’s manager.

John Mulaney and Nick Kroll

Comedy fans know that John Mulaney and Nick Kroll are basically inseparable. The two voice characters on Netflix’s Big Mouth but met way back when they attended Georgetown University. They were a part of the college’s improv group.

“I was doing improv comedy in an improv group called, The Georgetown Players Improv Group. The director was a guy named Nick Kroll. He was a senior and he cast me in the group,” Mulaney told CBS News. “Had I not met Nick that day — and then met Mike Birbiglia, another incredible comedian who’s helped me out so much — it really would have been a different path.”

Adele and Jessie J

Across the pond, musical artists Adele and Jessie J attended the BRIT Performing Arts School together in London. They became fast friends.

“We had no idea what would happen I guess,” Jessie told The Real. “When you’re at college you’re just trying to get your grades but we used to sing at lunchtime together, which was really surreal thinking about it now.”

Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale

Before starring in High School Musical together, Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens met on the set of a Sears commercial.

“We met on a commercial audition and our friendship took off. Next to High School Musical, to touring the world, to shopping A LOT, to basketball games and a lot of rosé,” Hudgens said on Instagram. “Now in our adulthood we [are] busy helping each other decorate and renovate our houses.”
