4th of July in Rye, Dover 400 block party: Things to do on Seacoast
As June comes to a close, we are about to welcome July, and hopefully sun will come along with it! This weekend the forecast for fun is looking good. Celebrate the Fourth of July in Rye, attend a block party and take a historical walk in downtown Dover, head to Portsmouth to experience Summer in the Street, as well as other exciting entertainment.

Jeff Tuohy at Cisco Brewers
What: The band features musicians from Nashville to the Northeast, including Jeffrey Tuohy, guitarist Eric Ieraci, drummer Mike Nappi (Kal David/Lucky Peterson/J. Geils), keyboardist Pat Firth (Bernhoft/Carsie Blanton), and pedal steel guitarist Philip Sterk (Midland).

True Tales Goes Live at Portsmouth Senior Center
What: On stage live for the first time in several years, the show will feature six tellers, each sharing a first-person story on the general theme “The Stories That Shape Us." The stories will take place in two sets with an intermission for refreshment.

‘Top Gun: Maverick’ at Prescott Park
What: Set 30 years after its predecessor, the movie follows Maverick’s return to the Navy's Strike Fighter Tactics Instructor program (also known as U.S. Navy-Fighter Weapons School – “TOPGUN”), where he must confront his past as he trains a group of younger pilots.

What: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dover's Historical Interactive Walk at Henry Law Park; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Block Party with bands at the Pavilion and vendors on Central Avenue; 7:30 a.m. Blackhawk Helicopter arriving at Henry Law Park staying through 4 p.m. weather permitting.
